Troup County Democrats
The Troup County Democrats are the premier local Democratic organization for Troup County, Georgia. Troup County has a long history supporting the Democratic Party, from frequent visits by President FDR to recognition by President Carter, this region has been the secret heart of Georgia’s Democratic base.
Today, the Troup County Democrats work hard to ensure progressive values are promoted on the City, County, State, and Federal level by working with candidates across the spectrum of governance and supporting progressive movements and policies.

The Troup County Young Democrats welcomes anyone who hopes to lead Troup County to a more progressive future, so long as they are between the ages of 14 and 40! The Troup County Young Democrats are dedicated to ending this era of hate-based-politics by guiding the next generation in the art of “Gentle Diplomacy” employed by Georgia’s own President Carter, the only President to end a war through a kind gesture.
